July 2-6, 2008

The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association and the International Federation of Hard of Hearing People invite you to attend the International Congress for persons with hearing loss to be held in Canada at the fabulous Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center in downtown Vancouver . http://www.sheratonwallcentre.com

Programs will be of interest to all persons with hearing loss, and to those who live, work and are part of the lives of persons with hearing loss. This Congress is a “must” if hearing loss has touched your life.

The setting is beautiful British Columbia which will play host to the Olympic Winter Games in 2010. There are so many exciting places to visit and so much to see and do. Some places of interest are Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain, Vancouver Aquarium, VanDusen Botanical Gardens and Stanley Park, just to cite a few.

For more information and links to the attractions go to http://www.tourismvancouver.com

A special feature of the Congress will be the meeting of young adults from all across the globe to discuss various pertinent issues about hearing loss. Through an exchange of ideas, we hope to find out what issues young adults in other countries deal with, what has been implemented in other countries and what we can work on together as a global community
